EQUIPMENT LIST

Here at L.A. Press we use  well maintained, state of the art equipment to better service all your needs. We keep our equipment well maintained so that we can keep our down-time to a minimum, helping us keep our prices competitive and our quality top-notch.

We use Presstek Anthem Chemical-Less plates exposed on a Presstek Compass 8015 to reduce our chemical usage and help our environment. By reducing the usage of chemicals we not only help save the planet, but we also help save you money.

Our Multi-Color presses can print most jobs in a single run. Jobs with 7-8 colors are no problem for us. We also print using Soy Ink, further helping our planet by reducing our petroleum-based products.

FILES REQUIREMENT

Below is a checklist for files to submit for print. It is important that files submitted to us are prepared properly to ensure the best results.

• Minimum resolution of 300 dpi
• CMYK; not RGB
• Files could be either native files or high-rez pdf
• Need all fonts outlined and embedded
• Artwork should have 1/8” bleed from trim line

• (4) MAC PROs & (3) PCs,
• The latest versions of Abobe CC and QuarkXpress
• (1) EPSON 9800 PROOFER
• (1) PRESSTEK Compass 8015 Platemaker using Anthem Chemical-Less Plates

PRESS

• (1) 40” Mitsubishi press - 6 colors + coater
• (1) 40" Mitsubishi press - 8 colors + coater
• (1) 40” Komori Lithrone - 8 colors + coater
• (1) 20" Ryobi-GX525 - 5 colors + coater
• (1) 2 colors Hamada.

POST-PRESS
